Tours around Lithuania
About Lithuania
Lithuania takes up 65,300km², a similar size to Ireland, a bit more than Switzerland or Denmark, but a bit less than Austria. It is situated in the northern part of Eastern Europe.
The Baltic Sea washes the lovely 99km coastline in the west of the country, which is covered with majestic pines, long beaches and dunes. You can also find some amber which is considered to be the Baltic gold.
There are plenty of opportunities for learning more about Lithuania and its lovely countryside. There are routes and paths for walking, horse riding, cycling, birdwatching and water tourism.
Despite the urbanisation that has reached the remotest villages, much of the country's wonderful natural environment has remained, Lithuania has beautiful and unspoilt forests, lakes and rich historical background, even in the countryside. Lithuanian nature is diverse throughout the country, even in the smallest areas of woodland or riversides.
You will be able to have a rest, research the nature and take in the picturesque sights right in the national parks.
